Course Description:
APPLIED MATH: Grades 9-12, full year; Prerequisite: none
This course is intended for students interested in developing and refining their math skills.
The overall course includes material that focuses on arithmetic operations, problem solving
techniques, estimation of answers, measurement skills, geometry, simple statistics, and the use
of algebraic formulas to solve problems. The course described is prepared for learners who have
an eighth-grade mathematics competency level.
